HELP!!!!!For make up if I don't have cream eyeshadow for the base what else can I use on my eyelids. Because to I am going to a party and to help makeup last long you should but base (cream eyeshadow) on your eyelids first. Pat a liitle powder on your eyeshadow and it will not smear and last longer.

Apply a very thin layer of Vaseline. This makes even the cheapest eyeshadow pop and it lasts ALLLLLL night. Remember a very thin layer, as thin as possible. Then apply your powdered eyeshadow.
i usually don't use a base eyeshadow. i just put on some vaseline to make it last longer. it also makes the eyeshadow you put on top of it look shinier and prettier

u can use concelar, visine, or some sort of creme based eyeliner color stick, or even cream blush or even a thin layer of a nude lipstick. . I wouldn't use vaseline if you have greasy eyelids for will make worse. The concelar and or cream based eyeline stick( the lrg ones), blush and lipstick go directly on eyelid and give smooth base for makeup to stick to and last all day!! but Visine also works well, just wet ur brush then dip in color and apply!! works best with lose pigments but can also be used with eyeshadow in palete form, just make eyeshadow loose by scratching surface alil till u have enough to stick to brush!! use only one of above forms for best results, also check out enkore on youtube he has a bunch of make up tips!! Well i don't use a base but when I apply eyeshadow I wet the tip of the brush just a bit, then it stays on and gives it an extra sparkle.

try putting eyeliner along your upper eyelid and then just brush bright eyeshadow over it. try doing half your lid one color and half another color. Even if it doesn't last as long, it'l still have a dramatic effect. :) good luck
1. apply a **very** light layer or lotion, vaseline, etc to your eyelid


2. apply the eyeshadow powder


3. then do the eyeliner


4. when you're done with that, dust a light light light layer of translucent/skin toned powder over your eyelids


5. then do the mascara last so it doesn't get any powder on it

Try using a little pressed or loose powder instead.
