How do i warm up ';cream eyeshadow stick';?

someone on u tube says he warms his up before he applies it. umm ok i'd like to try that. but he didn't say how he warmed it up. do any of u guys do this? do i use a hair dryer to warm it up? but then... wouldn't that make my cream eyeshadow stick like expire/go bad or change its composition after repeated heating and cooling? (poor stick : p )How do i warm up ';cream eyeshadow stick';?
roll it between ur hands. like stick it between you hands and rub your hands together for a minute and it should work :)
