Where exactly do you apply 'cream eyeshadow'? actually on the eye socket or just along the crease of the eye?

Before you do ANYTHING, I would suggest that you:

1. moisturize your face with a lotion. I use Kinerase SPF 30, but Neutrogena works well too. Be very careful around the orbital eye are. People always rub, and it disrupts this sensitive eye area; light dab with your fingertips instead. Kiehl's makes a great under eye avocado moisturizer that I SWEAR by.

2. After moisturizing, apply PRIMER. Laura Mercier makes a good primer but you can also try Revlon's clear primer. It's like spackle for your face. It evens out all the bumps and crevices BEFORE you put on your makeup.

3. Then apply a concealer that is 1 shade lighter than your skin tone to this area as shadows tend to make the area look darker than what it it.

4. Finally apply your shadow from the socket, along the crease, dabbing, and blending so that it looks even and not too makeup-y.

There! You're gorgeous dahling!

you can do both, theres so much you can do with it, just like any other eyeshaow, if you only color up to the crease and use other colors too then chances are it will just give your lid a highlight of the color thats already on there, if you but it on the entire eye socket you can use it as a base for other colors or basically its the same thing as a shade, even though its a cream eyeshadow you should treat it just like any other eyeshadow because basically it is, just made of a different material, i wouldnt recommend as a highlight for your brow because some creme eyeshadows look really caky in a certain light, oily, if you notice that the material is pigmented(very well colored) just right and fine as in smooth, then you should be fine as a highlight but try it and see if you like it and if not just use lotion to wipe it off with a cotton ball or cotton swab that way you wont mess up the makeup you already have on if you put on the highlight on lastWhere exactly do you apply 'cream eyeshadow'? actually on the eye socket or just along the crease of the eye?
It looks really good on the eye socket. And then some darker powder on the crease. This gives your eye a really pretty and upbeat look. (:
totally the eye socket. If you put it in the crease, it will get clumpy and look really tacky and sloppy.
either or but mostly on the eye socket put a highlighter on the crease
eye socket
both! just wear a great base under and it will look fabulous
